北京建院约翰马丁国际建筑设计有限公司成立于1994年，前身为北京金田建筑设计有限公司。2008年北京市建筑设计研究院对北京金田建筑设计有限公司进行战略改组，2010年北京市建筑设计研究院引进美国约翰马丁结构工程设计集团作为战略投资人，2010年更名为北京建院约翰马丁国际建筑设计有限公司。公司是经中华人民共和国商务部批准，住建部颁发甲级工程设计证书的中外合作企业。
公司自改组以来，以北京市建筑设计研究院有限公司为技术支撑，通过美国约翰马丁结构工程设计集团引进先进设计理念，精心设计、科学管理、细致服务以及严格控制工程质量等措施完成了大量优秀工程，赢得了社会的广泛赞誉。公司目前拥有一支老中青相结合、团结协作、锐意创新的优秀设计团队，规划、建筑、结构、设备、电气、室内等专业配套完善。改组以后，作为BIAD的深化改革先锋，迎接新的挑战。
经营范围
承接与组织国内外各种建筑工程设计、室内外装修工程设计、城市规划及小区规划；开展与建筑设计、室内外装修设计、小区规划等有关的咨询业务与技术服务。

通过在中国及世界各地经营业务，以优质的设计服务和信誉广泛地开拓与建筑设计及室内设计、城市规划相关的业务项目，促进中外建筑技术交流，发挥各自优势，坚持设计创新精神、提供高完成度的设计作品，贯彻落实BIAD“建筑服务社会”的核心理念，为促进建筑设计领域的发展贡献力量。
业绩分布
08年重组后累计完成近200余个建筑设计项目，完成近1000万平方米的设计任务；完成了近百项规划设计项目。项目遍布于全国各地。
完成的建筑类型有：办公建筑、研发建筑、体育建筑、酒店建筑、医疗建筑、教育建筑、商业综合体、观演、展览展示、博物馆建筑、超高层建筑、别墅、住宅建筑（含保障房建筑）等全部建筑设计类型。
公司还在规划、室内装修、园林景观、弱电、照明、钢结构、绿色建筑（LEED认证）、舞台工艺、建筑声学、展览展示等专项设计领域均有很强的设计实力。
